Abby Elliott
Abby Elliott
(born June 16 in 1987) is an American actor and comedian who was a member of
Saturday Night Live from 2008 until 2012. She has also been a part of the Bravo
comedy Odd Mom Out and the NBC sitcom Indebted. She is the child of actor and
comedian Chris Elliott. Elliott was born in New York City as the oldest of her
two children. She is the daughter Paula Niedert, a talent coordinator and Chris
Elliott, an actor/comedian. Her grandfather was Bob Elliott (radio comedian). Her
younger sister is actress Bridey Elliott they were both born in Wilton,
Connecticut. She was a student at Immaculate High School Danbury, Connecticut
where she performed in school musicals and plays. She graduated from Immaculate
High School, Connecticut in 2005. She left Marymount Manhattan College during
her first semester. In 2010, Elliott was in a relationship with Fred Armisen an
actor on Saturday Night Live cast member. The couple split in September 2011.
On September 3, 2016, Elliott married Bill Kennedy, a television writer. The
couple has a daughter named Edith Pepper Kennedy. Elliott has studied comedy at
The Groundlings, and then began performing and training for different sketch
comedy shows at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB), Los Angeles.
